SJVN Limited, a key player in India's power sector, has a new leader at the helm. Sushil Sharma was recently appointed as the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of the company, bringing over three decades of experience in the energy industry to the table 💡.

Sharma's journey within SJVN began in 1994, where he started as an Assistant Engineer. Over the years, he steadily climbed the ranks, demonstrating his expertise in hydroelectric projects 💪. 

His impressive background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from VNIT, Nagpur, and contributions to significant projects like the 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Project and the 412 MW Rampur Hydroelectric Power Station 📈.

The appointment came after a comprehensive selection process conducted by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).

 Sharma's extensive experience and proven track record in the hydroelectric domain ultimately set him apart, making him the ideal choice for the CMD position at SJVN Limited 🏆.

Established in 1988, SJVN Limited is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
